Since 1945, Youngblood Building Movers has successfully moved over 1,000 diverse structures across the Southeastern United States. Our portfolio includes everything from historic coquina arches to heavy transporters and multi-story residential homes. We take great pride in directing complex projects with the utmost care and precision, whether it's a charming tiny home or the expansive 11,000 square foot Opryland Ticket and Tour Building. About Us

Hardy Youngblood founded the original company in 1946 in Madison, Tennessee. The dedicated Youngblood crew worked diligently throughout both Central and East Tennessee until the late 1950s. During this important period, they worked extensively in Oak Ridge, which was rapidly developing into a bustling city, as they moved houses in to accommodate the influx of workers.

As work opportunities were beginning to slow down in the Tennessee area, new roads were being constructed, and numerous houses needed to be moved in Central Florida. This situation prompted Hardy and his sons to make the significant decision to relocate to Florida. Upon their arrival, they commenced moving houses in and around the Kaley Avenue area to facilitate the new construction for Interstate 4. The expansion of roads and the accompanying growth of the region eventually took them to the Jacksonville area and subsequently on to Titusville. Throughout this time, they continued their efforts, moving homes and businesses across the entire state. During the 1960s, the Space Program was rapidly advancing, and the government made the decision to purchase Merritt Island. This development led to five significant years of work in that area. In 1966, T.A. Youngblood and Sons Building Movers officially settled in the Sanford area with a clear desire to establish a central location and foster the continued growth of their business. They remain located there to this day.

Tom A. Youngblood worked diligently side by side with his father, learning the trade and principles of the business until he officially took over the family business in the year 1980. Following this transition, Tom continued to work alongside his two sons, Randy and Tandy Youngblood. Unfortunately, Tandy passed away in 2012 at the young age of 47, leaving a lasting impact on the family and the business. Despite this loss, Tom and Randy remain dedicated to their work, still moving a wide variety of structures, and they continuously adapt to meet the evolving needs of their clients and the industry. Together, they have successfully built a strong reputation for excellence, reliability, and professionalism in their field, earning the trust of many customers over the years.
